Well chemo isn’t exactly like I thought it would be. I seem to have nausea every day and realize that anti-nausea medicines are my friend. I had been having trouble sleeping (steroid related??) and on Saturday night I slept for 2 solid hours and then was up. On Sunday, I felt pretty good but was tired. On Sunday night, I slept for 5 hours straight..yeah…on Monday I actually felt pretty good but by 3:00 p.m. sleep overcame me. I spent the rest of the afternoon dozing. We went to Cissna Park for volleyball and I dozed going and coming. Last night I slept all night except when the storm woke me. Already today I have dozed off twice. I’m thinking I just need to get caught back up on my sleep and will be good by afternoon. Tonight is the BIG volleyball game with our rival and I won’t be missing that.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with my doctor to see how the first week has been. I have mixed reactions on the first week so I’ll be anxious to see what the doctor thinks. It hasn’t been horrible, but different than I thought it would be and I certainly haven’t been very perky.

My birthday was very, very nice and I enjoyed Elmo a lot. It was pretty funny to watch. Riley, Lauren’s dog, wasn’t sure what to think and of course, we liked to add to his torment. I appreciate all Jeremy and Sarah’s efforts to find me a “Cheer Me Up” gift. It worked!

I’ll write after my doctor’s appointment.

Love, Lori

Well I can’t get the seior pictures online until we order the ones we want. They only give a book of pictures. The pictures are smaller and of low resolution. Which means for viewing to order they are fine but to put online they are not of good enough quality. Which is just a computer issue and not a issue with the photos themselves. So once we get the pictures ordered and get the actual pictures I will put the ones we ordered online. They all looked great though.
